Hi, Diane. I am a cousin. Col. Ben Cleveland is my 6th great uncle. I descend from his sister, Mary. Larkin's birthdate is April 6, 1748. Died July 9, 1817. He was shot at Sycamore Shoals on his way to Kings Mountain, but was returned home to recover. I, too, have Profile of a Patriot, and a number of other Cleveland Bios. I live in Cleveland, TN, where we are in the planning stages of erecting a statue of Col Ben. Would love to talk sometime. Email me. Maggie
