In going over the many land deeds of Joseph Cleveland of Tuscaloosa Co., AL several important points emerged:
1. He signed his name on an Oct. 1835 deed as Joseph Buckhanan Cleveland, assignee of Hardy Clements.
2. The last deed he recorded in Tuscaloosa Co., AL was August 1, 1861. This means he died AFTER that date.
Both of these points are important to researchers of the Joseph Cleveland and Martha "Patsy" Meeks lines.
