Im In South Australlia.
My Mother was a CLENDINNEN
My ggggrandfather was JAMES GLENDINNING(CLENDINNEN) Born Co Down Ireland in 1720s.
His Brother William went to NC USA.
They had Quite a Few Children, One being FISHER CLENDENIN.
William and James Parents were WILLIAM GLENDINNING and ROSE FISHER, Thus One of Williams Kids was named FISHER in NC.
There is some contraversy tho re a WILLIAM GLENDINNING marrying a ROSEANNE(ANN) KIRKPATRICK.
Tho a Marriage for them Both and a Birth for ROSEANNE has Not been found.
At the moment im researching the CLENDINEN line thru WILLIAM of NC thru TN, ILLinois etc.
And Alsdo wondering too if the CHARLES, ARCHIBALD CLENDENIN who went to WV, and the Towns of Charleston and Clendenin there apparently named after them..Are they Connected to Our line??
Interested in hearing from Other CLENDENIN researchers in USA too.
