My husband's GGrandfather was Benjamin Franklin Clendenen born 1845.. He was son of James A. Clendenen born Abt. 1823 who was believed to be son of Charles born abt 1785. I think James A. had land in OHIO.. but he lived in Putnam county in 1850.. Charles lived with Andrew Lewis and Lucy Clendenen there too.. Charles was Lucy's father too.. William M. Clendenen born in 1824 was Charles son also..
