Hi,

I located two Josiah Clendenens in the 1850 census. One is Josiah, 73, and his wife, Esther (Livingston), 77 who are living in Green Twp. of Morgan Co., IN

The other is Josiah Clenden, age 6, in the household of James Clendenen, 40, b TN (Harrison Twp., MOrgan Co., IN) and his wife Isobel, 37, b IN. This Josiah has a 5-year-old sister, Esther as well as another sister who is older, Peggy, and one who is younger, Ibby, 3.

I would suggest that Josiah, age 6, is the grandson of Josiah, age 73.
