Dear Gayle,
Thank You for the information about the book . I got a gift certificate from Amozon.Com and have not been able to decide what to purchase with it for my Christmas present from my step-daughter was going to use it to buy my Grandson some videos, but might just buy this book instead.
I do have some questions for you since you have the last name Clendenen is that the correct spelling, and where does the name originate from?
Also I have some names you might know.....
My GGGrandparents are Isabelle Darby Clendenen, and Frank Clendenen.
My GGrandparents are Mary Ellen Clendenen and William Henry Fletcher...William Henry Fletcher's mother is Nancy Isabelle Johnson.(I have this date for William Henry Fletcher for August 4, 1893 but not sure what date is birth, marriage, death.
My Grandparents are June Irene Fletcher and John Henry Thomas.
My Parents are Barbara Ann Hundley and William Fredrick Thomas. If any of these names ring a bell please let me know. My cousin is suppose to be copying birth certificates and marriage lisc. for me because she is there in WV. but so far she has not sent me anything. I wrote down as much information as I could when I was visiting last July, my Grandma Thomas is not well and I am trying hard to piece things together for the family...So far I am the only one doing the work...
So any information would be welcome. I would like to go to WV again and spend about a month and a half if I could and just do the research myself.
