I am looking for information on James Clemons/Clements,B. abt 1814, father of George S Clemons b. abt 1848 in SC James was married to Tabitha b. in GA I think he moved to GA when George was less than 1 year.Indian lands were available at that time George married Matilda Reeves and moved to AL during the Civil War. Really would like to find more about this family.
