I believe you are providing valuable information for future researchers. Perhaps the Joseph child you mention is:
Joseph Clemons married Emily Carter 1 Apr 1858, Harrison County, KY. But, they seem to have disappeared.
However, I see a M. Clemmens, age 34, in Grant Co in 1880 [Mahlon?] and an Albert G, age 36, in Grant Co in 1880.
Funny there is also a John T. Clemmons, 56, wife Mary E, 45, with sons Joseph C., 22, and a Nellie, 3.
This might be the family you are talking about? But the Hannah doesn't fit? Did she die?
Any help from you friend would be invaluable to future researchers. I am only trying to sort out all the Clemons lines [maybe four lines] in these three counties - closely inter-connected.
