Thomas Clemons Jr ---------------------------------------- Birth: Jan 1826, Harrison County, KY1 Death: Feb 1909, Mason, Grant County, KY Father: Thomas Clemmons Sr (<1790-<1824) Mother: Mary Mozingo (1784-1845) Oldest son, James R., went to Decatur County, IN after the Civil War and married (1867) a Mozingo. Another son, Joseph A., also went to Decatur County, IN and married (1873) a Fortune. In 1870 Thomas was HH# 84, in-laws were HH# 84, and [brother] James was HH# 90 in Berry's Ville. Research: 1850 Census - James, William, John, Eliza 1860 Census - "Clemens", Dist 2, Harrison County, Ky, Thomas, age 40, Harriet, 36. Children as in 1850 plus Martha (age 12 - out of sequence and missing from 1850 census, Morman IGI shows her birth as 1852), Joseph, Mary, Sarah, and Misourie. Minus - John. 1870 Census - Appears twice with different information: Ancestry.com image 32 of 353 (page 80), HH# 23 Berry Ville, Berry's Precinct, Harrison County, KY, 9 July 1870: Thomas, 47, Harriett, 44, Wm H, 22, Martia J, 18, Joseph A, 17, Sarah L, 12, Minnie, 9, Rebecca, 7, and Elizabeth, 5. 1870 Cenus: Ancestry.com image 42 of 352 (page 85), HH# 84 Berry Ville, Berry's Precinct, Harrison County, KY, 14 Jul 1870: Thomas, 46, Martha, 19, Mary C, 16, Sarah, 14, Missouri, 10, Rebecca, 8, Minnie, 7, Able, 17, Elizabeth, 5, Heattie, 3, William H, 24, Harriett, 43. 1880 Census - HH# 9, Berry's Precinct, Harrison County, KY, page 107 (Ancestry.com image 41 of 58), 17 Jun 1880, Thomas, 57, Harriet, 54, Mosier, 20, Rebecca, 19, Lucy, 14, and Hetta, 14.
