Our first find of Curtis Clemmons is on the 1805 tax list of Davidson Co Tn. We can prove no connection to any Clemmons/Clements there in Davidson, if anything we have disproved it...haha He just appears there. We have traced him with no problems until after the 1840 census of Lauderdale Al.. then he just vanishes. He nor his wife left a probate in Lauderdale AL. I once thought maybe he went with some of his kids to Washington Co Arkansas... but there was no probate there either.
I just wish we could find something before 1805 or after 1840. We have not located a Jefferson Clemmons yet.
