Do you have a Jane Clemmons, who married John Lambert in your files? John Lambert was born about 1872. I have no information on Jane, but would assume she was born in that approx. time frame. They had a daughter, Ruthie, born 1895. Were probably in Texas then, although I don't find them in the 1900 census. In the 1910, Ruthie was living with Nathaniel Lambert in Kaufman County, Texas, and is listed as his daughter. Although Ruthie's death certificate (1959) and obituary say that her parents are John Lambert and Jane Clemmons. If so, Nathaniel would have been her grandfather.
