Zepheniah Clements was born 1750 in Amelia County, Virginia. Before 1772 he married Elizabeth Minter in Virginia. Elizabeth died about 1774.They had the following children:

Zepheniah then married Susanna Jones and had the following children:
Louellen Clements who married Frances L. Cook.
Parasada Clements who married (1) John Cole and (2) James R. Clements.
Thomas Clements
William T. Clements
Alfred C. Clements who married Elizabeth W. Watson.
Mary Polly Clements who married Thomas Wash.
Susannah Clements who married James Terry.
Nancy Clements who married (1) John Hunt, (2) John T. Williams.
Jake Clements
Leanna J. Clements married John T. Williams.
