David, there is a Clement listed in HETRINA, last name only, from Schmalkalden in Germany. Cannot draw any conclusions from this. John William was proclaimed a UEL in Kingston in 1796, and lived in the Ernestown area. I am in the process of trying to obtain where the grant of land was made. I feel it may have been around the Napanee area, formerly known as Fredericksburg.
