Nathan Glenn CLEMENT was the son of Daniel Clement and Wilmouth IRBY. Daniel was the son of Isaac Clement and Ann Denham of Anderson District, SC. Isaac being the son of Benjamin and Susanah Hill Clement. Benjamin was the son of William and Ann Clement of Virginia.
Nathan Glenn was born April 22, 1808 in Pittsylvania, Virginia. His residence in Henry County became a part of Benton County, District 9 in 1836 and you may find additional records of him there. Nathan died on May 11, 1872.
Nathan Glenn Clement was married first to a great-great aunt of mine, Nancy Betsy Allen. They had sons; Thomas Daniel, b: 1832 and Nathan Warren, b: 1834.
Nathan's second marriage was to Caherine Mathewson and to my knowledge, six children were born;

2 Isabelle Clement, b: abt. 1843 Henry Co., TN
3 William Roderick Clement, b: abt. 1845 Henry Co., TN
4 Gabrella R. Clement, b: abt. 1847
5 James Justice Clement (your line) b: February 05, 1850 in Henry Co., TN
6. Robert Hickman Clement, b: 2-15-1852 Henry Co., TN d: 3-08-1933 Benton Co., TN
My great grandfather (My mothers side) was George Washington Andrews, who was married first to Nancy Clement and second to Pervilla Allen. The Clements also attach by marriage to various families on my fathers side in South Carolina and Colonial Virginia.
