According to the Baylor County TX records there was a Luther M Clements in the 1880 census.

The 1900 census for baylor County Showed a C.C. Clement born in Mar 1852, with wife Belle and two children.

Also there were some Clement family in Moore County Tx, around 1900.

Some decendants were operating a Steak house in Megergle Texas as late as the 1960's- early 1970's.
