Does anyone know anything about the family background of this man? He was possibly from county Monaghan, Ireland; became a fellow of Trinity College Dublin and was vice-provost. Also MP for Dublin and TCD, I'm not related; I'm revising an article on him in forthcoming Dictionary of Irish Biography
