Hi, Robin,
I got a copy of Rachel Clement Williams Mumford's funeral record yesterday. It lists her father as Peter Climent and her mother as Fanny (I'm pretty sure - it could be Fancy or even start with an N, but it really looks like Fanny the most) Ford. I looked in the Texas census for 1880 and found a Fanny Ford (widowed/divorced) living next door to Cass County in Morris County. I still haven't found any information for Peter Clement's second marriage, but I think this must be the lady. She was born in 1855 and had no children living with her in 1880. She was living with her brother William Key and her mother Martha Ann Key. In an earlier census in Texas she went by Fanny Lee Key. Whoever the second wife was, she had children by Peter starting in 1884 with Henry, 1887 with Lydia Ann, and ending in 1888 with Rachel. Hope this helps. Susan
