I am interested in information on Edward Clement b.1780 Amelia Co., VA and d.1840 in Sumter Co., AL. Moved with his mother to Spartanburg Co., SC in 1790. Married Margaret Montgomery in SC in 1800 and moved to Greene Co., AL in 1820. Father was probably John Clement(died in VA) and mother Ann Walker who later married Edmund Fowler.

Edward had nine children, including John W., Jefferson, William M., George W.,James A.,Rosa (m.Jesse Saunders),Mary Mahala (m.Stephen Collins) and Sarah (m.Wilkins J. Sims).
