Hi...are you missing a relative who was born July 24, 1882? Was his name possibly, Richard, George or Ernst Clemens? If so, I might have your man. Or if it was completely different first name but on born on the same day...i would still be interested in your input. This man did not want his origins known so I am not sure if he used his real name. My Great Grandfather was very hush-hush about his origins and even my records have many conflicts.
He said he was born in California in the 1930 cencus. We always thought he was possibly born in PA. We know him to be Richard Clemens. It was once said that his whole name is Richard Ernst Clemens. His wife put his name in her family bible as being George Richard Clemens. Someone reported on his death certificate that his parents were Frederick Clemens and Emily Ross. Any help is greatly appreciated!! TIA Jessica
