I believe that the brothers of John Marshall Clemens listed here are incorrect. He had 2 brothers, Pleasant and Hannibal, and 2 sister, Caroline and Elizabeth (my direct ancestor). There were Clemens cousins by the names of Jeremiah, James, and Sherrard, but not brothers of John Marshall C. There is much recently discovered evidence that the Clemens are descended from the earliest settlers of Haverhill, MA, in 1639. More detail on request
