Mark Twain"s (Samuel Langhorne Clemens') father was John Marshall Clemens.
John Marshall Clemens' father's name was Samuel B. Clemens.
John Marshall Clemens had 2 brothers: Pleasant who died at the age of 11, and Hannibal who married Jane Hudson Jones.
The only Benjamin Clemens in my records is Benjamin Lampton Clemens who was the son of the above John Marshall Clemens, and only lived to the age of 10.
