While browsing on the net, I came across your forum page. My grandmother was Veda Clemence, born in Brazil, but family originally from Cornwall. Her father was Thomas Lyne Clemence, married to Mabel Martin. I think his father was Samuel Clemence, born 1830, buried at sea in May 1892(S.S.Tamar), married to Julia. Both born in Redruth, Cornwall. My grandmother had two brothers: Rodney and Frederick (died in Australia not too long ago).
