According to a distant relative of mine, my great-grandfather's sister(Ollie R. Richardson-Watson) always called Samuel Clemens "Uncle Sam" but I haven't found a connection yet.His parents share campbell Co, VA, Adair Co, KY and Monroe Co, Mo. with several of my relatives.
