A biography/family history of William J. Clemens is included in "Montana, Its Story and Biography", Vol 3, pages 1171 & 1172. Parents: Henry, b. 1845, Germany, came to the US in 1862 to Wisconsin, 1879 MT; in Wisconsin, married Miss Margaret Haskamp, born 1886, Germany, died 4 May 1915, Anaconda, MT. Their children: John Henry (Rocker, MT), William John, Thomas Henry.
On 14 Apr 1910, William J. married Miss Edith Perry, daughter of George & Lucy Perry, of Anaconda, MT. Clemens children: Eleanor Elizabeth, b. 8 Dec 1913; Evelyn Margaret, b. 23 Feb 1918.
