Anne,Elizabeth was born in Charleston on 26 Dec 1768.She was the daughter of Peter Rush and Catherine Plains. She married a Wilson, who according to Leonardo Andreo,a Travelers Rest genealogist,as told to a cousin,William Rush, that his research had connected Samuel Clemens with the Rush family through this connection. As he was at the VA Hospital in Columbia,S.C., at the time,he did not have his research with him. Therefore, all the proof I have is this.Hopefully, someone out there must have either found the same info or can disprove it.thanks for your reply. Sincerely,Judy
