Hi again. I'm basing my belief that David is my ancestor based solely on the Arthur's Wheel I mentioned. This was a project put together in the 1920s by members of my family, several members of which are listed as direct descendants of David, who is described in the Wheel as Arthur's brother. Here's where it gets interesting. David's son George Washington Cleland apparently married Arthur's daughter Liza Cleland. They were cousins, and they are my GG Grandparents. I can see why there is precious little information on them. However, they do appear to be my ancestors. Arthur's son, David, by the way apparently died in childhood. This again according to the Wheel. My Great Grandmother reported in the 1920s that David came to America with his brother Arthur, his wife and 10 children. David and Arthur fought side by side in the Revolution, she said, and were jointly granted farmland in Portersville, Pa.
