Hi Troy and any other descendants of George Cleghorn and Agnes Hogg:
The Cleghorn pages beginning at:
http://history.earthsci.carleton.ca/harvey/genealogy/cleghorn1.htm
have now been enhanced with photographs of some first and second generation Cleghorns. In addition to thumbnails of various people on each page are high resolution downloadable versions suitable for printing. Of particular interest to descendants will be a high resolution Crayon Portrait photograph of Agnes Hogg Cleghorn that was taken when she was still a middle-aged woman some time after the premature death of George. The only way that such portraits will survive in the long term is if as many descendants as possible download them and have them printed (and properly labeled on the back!). If anyone has photographs or other digital artifacts, or other information that they would like added to the pages please pass them on.
This initiative is part of a larger effort mandated to document the families that settled Harvey, York Co., NB between its founding in 1837 and the late 1850's.
