Does anyone know for certain who George Cleghorn's father was? - Born 1820 in Edinburgh Scotland and moved to New Brunswick Canada in 1853. He married Agnes Hogg in Eckford, Roxburgh County, Scotland. He came to Canada with 5 children then had 5 in Canada. It has been shown in one genealogical post that he was the son of George Cleghorn Sr. and Jane Dickson. This George was born about 1780 and they married February 27th 1803 in Ancrum, Roxburgh County, Scotland. The New Brunswick Cleghorn's are known quite well - do any Scottish genealogies connect?
