I am looking for information on Joseph CLEGG who was born about 1811 in Bretton, Yorkshire, England. He married on 14 February 1830 Hannah EASTWOOD in Silkstone, Yorkshire, England. They are listed on the 1841 census as living in Bolton Percy, Yorkshire, England. He was a blacksmith. Two children are listed, John and George, both born about 1831. In 1861 they lived in Bradford, Yorkshire, England. Son John CLEGG was christened 14 August 1831 in Silkstone. He married Eliza NORTH December 1852 in Wakefield. By 1880, John and Eliza had immigrated to the US and worked in a machine shop in Barre, Massachusetts. He died 22 July 1892 in New Bedford, Massashusetts. Any information will be greatly appreciated.
