I have a William Clegg (son of Alexander Clegg and Mary Edgar)who married a Ann Hamilton in Kirk of Carradale Scotland on 9 Jun 1839. They had a son Richard Campbell born 29 Mar 1840. He too married a Ann Hamilton in the county of Ayr Scotland on 25 Nov 1864, they had a son William born 11 July 1865. I can follow with branch right up to present day. I am pretty sure we are searching the same family just different branches. Contact me for more information please?!
