Just stumbled across this site and even though I don't have dates with me at present. Just to let you know I am researching the family name CLEGG. My mother was Elizabeth Clegg, born, 1917 in Wrexham, North Wales her father was Joseph Clegg, a Drover who died before 1944. He married Kate Mason(at least we think, they married - they lived to gether and produced my mum and Ernest and Harry). However, Kate Mason also married (lived with) David Evans prior to Joseph Clegg, and had 4 children, Fred, Jessie and two other boys. Can post dates and places latter, if any one has this Welsh connection then let me know
