I hope you all are doing fine.

As you know I have been trying to figure out these Samuel Cleggs for some time, It sure does get hard sometimes.

Is Samuel, the father, the husband of Mahittbel? (just trying to sort out the Samuels.)

Also, is Samuel Campbell Clegg the same person who was parish tax collector in 1764 and member of the Royal Assembly (1765-1768)?

I have been trying to sort these out for some time. Where did you find the info to confirm this?
