Lt. Alexander Clegg, b. about 1757, died 1829 WV...May be related to the Thomas Clegg mentioned in this forum..(Brother??)Thomas married Margaret Farmer..Their daughters were allegedly taken by Indians and their release was facilitated by Simon Girty. Daughter, Susannah, married Samuel Minor, son of William Minor and Frances Ellen Phillips. Alexander established in the DAR.
