Buried in Little Union Cemetery (which is located behind Stuckey's Filling Station and Schuler's Restaurant in Henryville. Little Union was a community cemetery, however, most of those buried there were related by blood or marriage. The headstone inscription reads:

"Richard Clegg, age 76 yrs, 5 mo. He was born in Ireland,
a son of Thomas Clegg."

Richard Clegg is the father of Matthew Clegg, a pioneer lawyer and Civil War Veteran in Clark County.
