Bristow Diaries KY 1830s-1870s
I have just posted the letters and diaries of Mary Beckley Bristow (1808-1890) to my GreenWolf website. They deal with events in Bourbon, Boone, and Kenton Counties from the 1830s through the Civil War.History at first hand.
The principal families featured are Bristow, Clarkson, Ellis, Dickerson, Breckenridge, Wilson, and Stephens, with mentions of Cleek, Stansifer, and other neighbors living around Union and Independence.
This new posting, which includes notes and index, etc., complements the letters and diaries of General Leonard Stephens which are also available at the site, along with additional notes on some of the Bristows.Take a look and let me know what you think.
