Susan,
Thank you so much! What an unexpected surprise.
Luna Sodden's sad history is one we've been trying to track. Her mother dies first, then she loses her first husband, divorced the second husband within ten years of that marriage (before 1910 according to what you found!).

This is what we know about her and I'd love to know more about her first husband or her third husband. You'll see all that I have in the notes below (minus what you just sent me). If you can find more, I'd love to see it.

Ashtabula Index to Births 1867-1909 lists the birth of
Soden, Luna P. born April 3, 1871 to George Soden and Cynthia Alger.
(Alger a misspelling, Cynthia was Cynthia Allyn)

Geneva Times September 9, 1875
FATAL ACCIDENT
One of the saddest accidents it has been our duty to record occurred on Monday afternoon, in South Harpersfield, resulting in the death of Mrs. Soden, wife of Mr. Geo. Soden, of Geneva, and by which her little daughter, some six years old, was badly injured, and a Mrs. Allen was also injured - and at the time thought fatally.
The circumstances as they reach us are these: Mr. Allen and wife, of Hartsgrove, and Mrs. Soden and daughter, of Geneva, were going south in a one-seated wagon, drawn by a pair of horses - Mr. A. and the women being on the seat, and the little girl in front. When near the house of John Chapin, some part of the harness parted, dropping the neck yoke from one of the horses, and letting the pole to the ground. The horses ran and became unmanageable, but Mr. A. kept them in the road. When the pole of the wagon struck the narrow bridge south of Chapin's the concussion threw Mrs. S. out, she striking upon the timbers of the bridge.
The team dashed along and in turn Mrs. A. and the child were thrown out, and finally the wagon was upset, spilling out Mr. A., but not seriously injuring him. The others were picked up and carried to the house of Mr. Chapin, where Mrs. Soden died soon after, living only some fifteen minutes. In falling she struck upon her head and back part of her chest. Her body was taken across the road to Mr.__________ and there laid out, the others remaining at Mr. C.'s Dr. F. W. Pietcher, who had been to Trumbull, to visit a patient came along soon after the sad affair and was called in. He found Mrs. Allen, who was terribly bruised about the head, alternately delirious and stupid, indeed no doubt by concussion of the brain. The injuries of the child were also on the head, and of serious nature.

Later at this writing, Wednesday, evening, we learn that Mrs. Allen's condition is more hopeful and that she has been removed to her home, in Hartsgrove. The little daughter [Luna] of Mrs. Soden is considered out of danger.

Married 1) 1893, John B. Stone. He d. 1896
Married 2) 1900, A. W. Cleaver
Married 3) Nov. 1913, Frank Bennett

Thanks again
