Thanks, Carol, these were the unverified items for which I was seeking some proofs. I guess you and I follow much the same hunting patterns! For your info, here are two flying field items I already have. As I said, I'm a Teeple chaser and I'd dearly love to attach more folks to Amos and his parents.
# New Landing Field. Lease on fifty-five acres of the Amos Teeple farm, one mile south of Numidia near Bloomsburg has been taken by the government for an emergency landing field for air mail planes. Equipment for the beacon light already is at Centralia and will be installed soon. The air mail superintendent who conducted the negotiations said night flying would be started about May 1 in the east.

# Bloomsburg—Test of the air mail service beacon light of 1,500.000 candle power was made on the Amos Teeple farm, near Numida, where an emergency landing field is being constructed. The light can be seen by flyers for 150 miles and by those on the ground for 50 miles.
