Hi Jennifer, Just some suggestions on genealogy research and posting. We're all searching for info on our ancestors. Telling us serves no purpose. The only thing any of us should assume in genealogy is that we are the only ones researching our lines. Use that mind set and you will never go wrong. We should always post for a specific record/document we need. There's no question as to what we're looking for, and if enough basic, essential data is included in the request, all responses should be benefical to us. By the content of our post, if anyone else is researching our lines, they will find us. And that's a reply we're not expecting. Even if a volunteer read this, they would not necessarily try to help because you already have plenty of data and the volunteer is not going to search for and report data you already have. We don't want folks searching for data we already have, we want them assisting us in what we need. In addition, we don't know where, when or how anyone may be indexed or enumerated on any given record. We often have to use search options available to us. Surnames and those with prefixes (O') have different soundexes so how would we find Celesta on a record if she was indexed as Celeste O'Clary. This is in no way critical of your post Jennifer, just suggestions we all have to consider in our avocation. Wishing you success in all your genealogy endeavors. Dick
