Yes, believe Henry Brown buried in Putnam Co. to be same who married Rachel Clearwater on April 8, 1813 in Highland Co. OH (Rachel was daughter of Jacob Clearwater and Elizabeth Armstrong of NC, TN, then OH).
Many Clearwaters, Mercers, Swifts, Wests, and other also buried in Beth El and Putnamville Cemeteries.
Booker Brown b. 1789 Rockbridge Co.VA married Rachel's sister, Cassandra on 11/16/1809 Fairfield, Highland Co. OH by Samuel Littler J.P. They did live briefly in Vermillion Co. IL but moved on to Wisconsin. They both died in Cadiz, Green Co. WI, Booker died in 1848.
Their children: Nancy, Sarah, Jacob A, Stanford S, Frances, Rachel, James, Asbury and Seth B.
The Clearwaters were Quakers.
