It is believe that Jacob Clearman father could be that of John William Clearman that married Ann Merchant. Information is that they had a large family while residing in New York. Records show a son Daniel Clearman (1779) that married Marie de Coutres from Nova Scotia, a grandson William C. Clearman (1815) and a great grandson Thomas D. Clearman (1851) that married Laura Jane Talbott. Most of the information in this web page cover the descendants of William Leslie Clearman and Lucretia Speaks. No descendants born much after 1900 are not listed.
