I am looking for any information on one of my great + grandfathers, Asher Clayton 1805-1896. His family lived in New Jersey from 1850-1870 US Census, and then to Philadelpia, Pennsylvania in 1880 US Census. I believe he is a son of Miles Clayton. There is vague information on a Miles Clayton with a son Asher Clayton 1810, with no further information. I believe they are one in the same. Our Asher Clayton married Sarah whose year of birth was 1810. Asher and Sarah had several children, Harriet F in 1832, Beulah Ann in 1834, Mary T. in 1836, Asher Clayton in 1844, Garrett C in 1847, and Sarah E in 1849. Anyone having information please advise me.
