Looking for documentation ("proof") that Melinda Beauchamp (wife of Middleton Clayton) was the daughter of William Beauchamp and Nancy Parker. She is listed in everyone's family list as his daughter born about 1800 but I have never found a link. She is not listed in William's will.
She married Middleton Clayton, lived in GA, and moved to MS. After his death, she married Eli Thompson. Was living with her son John J. Clayton in Baxter Co., AR in 1880.
Thanks for any help in steering me in the right direction.
