Hi William,

There are too many Joseph Claytons and Edith Masseys on both the 1891 and 1901 census to be able to pinpoint the correct folks. Therefore, you will need to get a copy of the marriage certificate and that will identify Joseph's and Edith's fathers....we can then find them on the census.

Joseph Clayton and Edith Massey were married in the March Quarter 1914 Rochdale 8e-80.

You can order the cert on line from the General Register Office. I do it all the time from the USA. Safe and easy to use. Certs cost about $15 US and take about 3 weeks to arrive.
