Hi William, There are too many Joseph Claytons and Edith Masseys on both the 1891 and 1901 census to be able to pinpoint the correct folks. Therefore, you will need to get a copy of the marriage certificate and that will identify Joseph's and Edith's fathers....we can then find them on the census. The marriage is indexed on the FreeBMD webpage: http://www.freebmd.org.uk/cgi/search.pl Joseph Clayton and Edith Massey were married in the March Quarter 1914 Rochdale 8e-80. You can order the cert on line from the General Register Office. I do it all the time from the USA. Safe and easy to use.
