Marlin known as "Gene" was born in Danville, Vermilion County, Illinois, on August 6, 1913. He was the son of William Forbes and Gladys Mildred Allison Claypool. He married Doris ________? He spent his life in the army. They traveled a lot. He died October 1, 1975. He was living in Rogersville, Hawkins County, Tennessee. He may have died near there or at a military hospital near by????
Is anyone able to do a look up at the courthouse or the local newspaper? I would greatly appreciate finding where he is buried. Tried to get his death certificate and I haven't been able to attain that since he's not my direct ancester(he's my uncle). I would appreciate any help that I can get in this matter. If I could help you in a Vermilion County Ilinois search I would be happy to do so.
