I am in process of researching my Keith family lineage, and have come across information that shows John Claypool (b. 26 Sept 1733, Cedar Branch, Rockingham Co., VA)(d. 6 Aug 1823, Lost River, Hardy Co., WV) married Nancy Ann Hacker (b. 1745 Bushes Fort, Upshur Co., VA)(d. 1827, Winchester, Frederick Co., VA).
The marriage between John Claypool and Nancy Ann Hacker would have taken place between 1764 and 1768. Prior to her marriage to John Claypool, Nancy Ann Hacker was married to James Keith...and as the story goes, thought of him as dead after being abducted by indians during Pontiac's War.
Anyway, please contact me if anyone does have information concerning this union.
