I can't help you with anything on your line, but we may be connected, at least by the area. I, too, am seeking information on a 3x great grandmother who was a Claiborne (var. spellings naturally included) and found in Dekalb Co., TN with her husband in the 1850 census. Her name was Letitia CLAIBORNE and she was married to Jesse WILLIAMS (about 1843). According to the census, she was born about 1824 in TN. That's all I know of her. I'm seeking Claibornes in that area to see if there's a family connection. Jesse and Letitia moved prior to the Civil War to central Arkansas. Anything sound familiar? Thanks. Tracey
