I think the Claiborne you seek is Elizabeth Claiborne, dtr of Wm Claiborne and Elizabeth Whitehead. Wm was the son of Wm Claiborne and (unknown) Dandridge. This Wm was the son of the first Wm. Claiborne to come over from England. Elizabeth Claiborne's second marriage was to Isaac Jackson. They had three children, Phillip W Jackson, Kathryn Jackson, and Lucy A. Jackson. Phillip m. Abbie Byrd, had two children, Betsy, who m. Phillip Echols, and Mary, who m. Peter Vasser. Kathryn m. Wm. Vassar, had one son Peter. Lucy m. (1)Abraham Jones,(2)Obediah Echols,& (3)Wm Rainey. I hope this is helpful.
