Clayborn/Claiborne Va. as Early as 1676

This is a long shot !!!! I am looking for a
Claiborne who married a Jackson. We are against a brick wall on a Churchwell Jackson of Orange Co., Va., but the name Claiborne is
in the family. I think it could have been the maiden name of one of the mothers. I have found that there was a Col. William Claiborne from England who died 1676 in William Co., Va., thus the name was here that
early. Any help really appreciated, Mary
