I have nothing further back than Robert, b. abt 1680 in Kinloss, Scotland, died in VA? in 1763. I have NO independent confirmation of this, just something I picked up somewhere.
Do you have anything on the Rachel Povall problem? Seem to have a lost generation.
I have information about Rebecca Bruce Palmer and Sophia Bruce Palmer, daughters of John. Seems we have another connection there too, but don't recall it right now.
