Hi, Sandy. Just to let you and others know - the Clay book you mentioned does not include anything about the descendants of Abia Clay and Sally Skinner. And that's why Anthony Hope Clay of Memphis, TN, and I are pursuing that Clay line. Abia & Sally had only one heir, their son Samuel Clay, who married his cousin Tabitha Clay in 1798 in Oglethorpe Co., GA. They had 12 children. Anthony and my husband John descend from brothers who were 2 of the 12 children. However, we are trying to track the descendants of all 12 children. We currently have over 2900 people in the history, and would like to exchange data with descendants of Samuel and Tabitha.
